Transportation and industrial designer Brook Banham and graphic designer Judith Grubinger Banham founded MIDDLECOTT in 2008 to create contemporary and dynamic design solutions for the needs of small and global companies alike. Beyond the confluence of their individual talents and extensive experience (including work with Puma and BMW) the duo are able to bolster their own offerings by pulling from a global pool of brilliant writers,engineers, CAD specialists, photographers, and other industry contacts in order to ensure that the proper expertise is brought to every project they are assigned. In this way, MIDDLECOTT is able to work efficiently both as a small self-contained unit and the leader of a larger, keenly selected team depending on the needs of a given client. This flexibility allows MIDDLECOTT to operate on a scale that best fits the task at hand, offering a personalized experience and saving time and cost through eliminating unnecessary manpower and corporate hierarchy.

Industrial Design

Graphic Design
We specialize in branding solutions and high-end print and web material. Studio 2 - fabrication workshop
The Middlecott satellite, Studio 2, is run by accomplished designer and model maker Ron Williams. Studio 2 is located in nearby Royal Oak and is a hands on modeling facility and prototyping shop.
Ron is an a product developer specializing in creative solutions in automotive and consumer products. Ron’s career exhibits a record of noteworthy achievements including the stylizing and the development of brand products for General Motors, Masco, Ford Motors and Hyundai, Mazda and Volvo Design in Southern California, and more recently for EDAG and Lingenfelter Performance products.
Studio 2 helps us to develop our ideas and transform them into tangible objects via a wide range of 3D mediums including but not limited: clay sculpting, aerospace tooling, composite and sheet metal part fabrication, foam core and sketch models, casting, prototyping, surface development, vehicle interior and exterior refinement, hands on 3D sketching and form development, ergonomic studies, engineering/ vendor and material sourcing.
